What happens after I sign up ?


You should receive a call within one business day from one of our Team Members. They will answer any questions and help address any detail we need to be aware of to provide the best service and meet your specific needs. On your first pick-up day, please remember to leave your laundry accessible for our drivers and separate into a separate bag any items that will need dry cleaning and/ or pressing. You can leave specific instructions on your order and our team will reach out to you if we need any clarification. For Example: if you typically want everything “Wash Dry and fold” but hope to have some specific shirts or pants pressed, just note that in your delivery instruction or preference area in your customer profile.




What if i'm not home to give or receive my delivery ?


No problem. Leave the laundry somewhere the driver can access it- if you need to put it somewhere specific- log into your account and edit your Pick-up/Delivery Instructions. Many customers have us leave their laundry at their back door or gate if they are not home. Just note it in your pick up instructions or preferences when requesting a pick up. Whenever possible, please select a drop-off site that’s protected from the elements. If you are having dry cleaning returned we recommend having somewhere to hang the items.




How fast can my laundry be returned ?


Residential customers: We currently commit to returning your items within 48 hours on business days. Deliveries are only done Monday through Friday. Rush deliveries are accepted upon request. Please call (707) 542-4992 Business/ commercial accounts: We may make special arrangements depending on your specific needs and volume, which is likely to include return on the next business day. In some cases, this may include Saturdays, if possible and if that is a necessary for your business.




When will my laundry be picked up and returned ?


All pickups are done Monday through Friday between 7am and 12pm. All laundry will be returned next business day typically in the afternoon. You will receive an emailed receipt once your order is processed and a text when your laundry is delivered back to you. Weekly customers: You will automatically be scheduled for a pick-up on your regular day. You will get a reminder text the night before- *If you do not need a pickup that week you can reply so to the reminder text. *If you decided weekly pickups do not work for you, you can easily opt out in your customer profile. For Will Call customers: You may schedule the pickup on our website or by texting us each time you need us.




Is there a minimum charge ?


Yes. We provide free pick-up and delivery. But, we have a minimum order charge of $25.00 Example: If you need a jump suit dry cleaned, this may only cost $18 but if it is the only item you need us to pick up- you will be charged the minimum fee.




Is Delivery Free?


Yes. We provide free pick-up and delivery. But, we have a minimum order charge of $25.00 Example: If you need a blouse washed and pressed, this may only cost $9 but if it is the only item you need us to pick up- you will be charged the minimum fee.




Laundry Bag Option?


You may purchase an Empire Cleaners Laundry Bag for Wash and Fold or a Hanging Cloths Reusable Bag for $5. You can request one in your customer profile or delivery instructions or by phone or text.




What do I send my laundry in ?


We can pick it up in your hamper, in garbage bags, or cloth laundry bags. *You may purchase an Empire Cleaners Laundry Bag for Wash and Fold or a Hanging Cloths Reusable Bag for $5. You can request one in your customer profile or delivery instructions or by phone or text.




How will bad weather affect my delivery?


This is very rare for our area but, it can happen. If there is a severe storm, we will return your laundry to you as soon as we consider it safe for our drivers to do so. Empire Cleaners will keep you updated on any changes via phone, email and/or text.




What if its raining outside, will my cloths be dropped off?


Typically for residential customers, we will have access to a covered or partially enclosed area that is secure from the elements. If the normal drop spot is not protected we will communicate with you if you at that time. If we are unable to communicate, and nobody is home when our driver arrives, we will take extra precautions. When the weather is bad, we will double bag your laundry to make sure it is protected from the elements. We will always do our best to protect your laundry. However, we cannot be responsible for laundry that is lost, stolen, or damaged by the weather after it had been dropped off at your home.




How often can i  update my personal and delivery preferences


As often as you like. You may need to tweak your profile prior to every pickup to update any special instructions for us. Some customers set up their preferences when creating their account and then rarely change them. Our customer profile is very user friendly!




How will I be billed ?


We bill your credit or debit card directly. We will email you a detailed invoice each time your card is billed. You will also get a text when your laundry is delivered with a link to your customer profile- if you are logged in you can see all your past charges.




Do you offer dry cleaning ?


Yes. If you specify you want your cloths dry cleaned, we will return them pressed and on a hanger. Each item will be priced individually unlike laundry wash dry and fold orders.

Do I Have an Option on What Soap is Used for my Wash and Fold ?


We use top qaulity profession soaps for all our cleaning. An Organic Plant Based Soup is availble upon request.This soap is for sensitive skins that require soap with no fregrance or extra additives.
